Ahem

Who are you calling newbie, sir?

In your last reply to a Review, you said that the movie only screws up if you rewinded or pressed the 'left' button. You say that as if you were justifying a bug.

-That- is the most newbie thing to do. If you were sincere and mature, you would simply fix this bug and not try to justify it.

The music -and- the continuity -are- screwed up and they -are- bugged. Fact. Fix it instead of throwing insults at people.

P.S. - Don't start with the "STFU. You don't even have movies on Newgrounds." I know ActionScript. And as it seems, better than you.
Start using variables more effectively.

Kryogenik responds:

in reply to your questions and things
1. I am calling themadscientist a newbie, because he fits the definition of a newbie almost perfectly. Nearly every one of his reviews are just mouthing off at the author for no reason, and so I felt inclined to flame him back. I also felt inclined to punch him in the face for being a jerk, but from his behaviour I gathered he is from America, which to too far away.
Also, he gave me an overall rating of 1, even though the average of the graphics, sound etc. was about 5.
2. I'm not justifying it, i'm pointing out that rewinding or pushing random buttons, as in most flash movies with looping sound, is likely to make it screw up. I shouldnt have to adjust my movie to fit stupid people better.
3. I didnt use any variables at all, so how i'm meant to use them for effectively I really dont know.

thanks for your time

Irritating

People like you are incredibly irritating. I reiterate what I have said in the past before. There are people here on newgrounds who very well know how to create Flash. Not every Flash product in the world has to be a lame game or a cartoon. Some people do "serious", practical work with flash and can't be bothered to submit cartoons to Newgrounds. Like ME!

So who the hell are you to tell people to not comment badly on your movie if they have not submitted something of their own? Who gave you that kind of authority, hmm? Nobody.

You submit an unfinished game. The part of the game that -does- work is incomplete as well and the plot is less than challenging nor does it compell me to come check out more of the series. You say you made this game in one day. Hooray. And? Why didn't you spend more time on it to make it better and larger (or complete)? Oh right. It said so in the game. "You couldn't be bothered." Hell of a game you got there. How -do- you want people to respond? Tell you that it is a great game and that you R0xx0r and all that shite?

Your attitude in the editors notes just ruined it for you, punk.

CI4001 responds:

man just shut up,i dont want the peice of shit you lame fuck i dont want to finish it

Very good.

But one thing puzzles me. In the last mission, I kept Osama at full cocain the -entire- time. And when his bomb blew up, he still died and I "fucked up bigtime". :(

DRUGFILMS responds:

You need alot of coke.

Enrique?

Oh my god. That was ... brain shattering.

Violet-AIM responds:

lol it sure was

Dude!

Start using BUTTON symbols with Static text for your answering options. It is -really- annoying trying to click on the LINE of the letter. When will people learn this?! Christ. That shit aint so hard.

THA-ICE-MAN responds:

k man im sorry,
v.2 will be better,

Very clean.

Well done. One or two brief scripts. One symbol. there you go. i like.

MetaphorcE responds:

you reckon you could help me out?

Ok.

But the controlls were -too- soft. Inertia is good but not on such a small screen and such big ships. So either you should make the ships smaller or make the stage bigger.

gltovar responds:

well I tried to be innovative. Its thinking out side the box. Basically i thought... in space there is no friction so your ship should move like that... but the blamming commenced with the change of the controls. It'll be changed soon actually

Hehe

Pretty funny. The minimal style didn't bother me at all. Was pretty entertaining, actually. Some of the finishing lines after an animation was done, were pretty funny, too. :)

YoshY-txt responds:

Thnak you! that was my goal, i'll try to make more once this gets protected. thanks for reviewing

Nice

Cool game. Definetly. Reminds me a bit of Xenon 2. Just without the screen paning.

Armegalo responds:

Thanks dude, even though I haven't played Xenon 2, it sounds cool.
