It's called originality. Have you ever seen characters that looked like this? Have you ever seen a story like this? Have you ever seen a Flash movie with this calibur of cinemtography? Try asking yourself that the next time you watch it. And CM isn't a monkey, he just has mutton chops.
??
Is there any reason you used the Israeli national anthem in this ..."movie"? To me this makes no sense.
Yes as a matter of fact there is a reason I used "Hatikva" in this movie.
Because i like it. If that doesn't make sense to you, TELL SOMEONE WHO CARES.
Bye
Azz
Ok.
Listen, guy. I was going to write a proper review but then I saw your response to the reviewer before me and I'd like to say something about that.
1. Not everyone that visits Newgrounds and has no movies submitted, is also non-proficient in Flash. As a matter of fact, there are Flash/Director (General Multimedia) designers here who -do- know how to make movies but choose not to go into the 'Cartoon Entertainment' branch. So don't presume, chum.
2. And there are no guns with long handles, you TV addled child. They are simply long ammo clips that stick out on the bottom.
3. For your first movie this wasn't so bad. But making submissions to Newgrounds does not -automatically- earn your the title of Artist nor does it elevate you over the rest of the Newgrounds community. You're a Flash greenhorn. Get some experience, then try to talk the talk.
Well I can understand that, but they really should have made a flash before giving one such a nasty review, after all, flashes are hard things to make, you can ask anyone here, they will agree.
For the record, this was my FIRST movie, unless there are things I should improve/change/use in my next movie, then I see no major problem with it it's self.
All I really want is to be noticed for my flashes, not for my rudeness.
Man, I had no idea the real world could deal you such tough things to deal with.
I will make flashes with as much improvements as the first Jaws movie!
you really opened my eyes to the truth.
Soo..
and this is a -good- movie or what? *looks around for the good movie*
I think that this is a good movie...
Ok.
Well. First off: Good animation, good 3d work and all. Maybe the filesize could have been a bit smaller. (I know. The 3d stuff takes up quite a bit)
Anyways. Now to your idea: It is not an entirely original concept, you know? Pixar made a proper 3d animation of a 'curious' desk lamp back then when nvidia was showcasing their new graphics card. then mac came and took the idea and animated their i-mac figure with the same concept.
Still. Not bad.
Hey, thanks. It took me a while to do this and I know its not that original. Actually, I was just going to make a simple animation for myself to test my modeling abilities, but then i just decided to make a short toon. Anyway, I'll keep that in mind. Thanks for the review!
Hahah!
Nice one. Good twist on the whole Mac/switch campaign. I like the connection it also makes to the similar parody "Darkside/switch". Merely because Silent Bob has the Jedi Skillz, too. :)
Neato. :)
w00t!
Sorry but...
This indeed -is- nothing more but site advertisement. Why? Well:
1. The movie was too short and is suitable as merely an intro to something bigger.
2. There was little to -no- plot and the whole point of the thing was to present the viewer with a link to your website.
3. There is no entertainment value. The true entertainment value is within your website. To get there, you click the link in the movie. And thus, once again, this is merely advertisement.
4. Advertisement is not defined by linkin to online gambling or long distance sales. Advertisement is everything that has no larger purpose than to refer to a specific product and proclaim it's existance or the likes. That is what you did.

i am sorry you feel that way.
Nice
Even though I think that Solid Stick is the way to go for Stick animation in the future, this was still a very good movie. The stick movement was very well done and on top of that there was a plot. So ... yeah. Cool stuff.
Solid sticks are pretty kool, but sticks are the basics of human motion. the plot will unfold later on.
